When you need something special, Esther’s Place is ready to indulge you and your friends with an experience that is refreshing and revitalizing! Our c.1895 Victorian style home is pristinely restored and full of beautifully detailed architecture; from elegant wood trims to exquisite stained glass windows and brass door furnishings for the fiber arts enthusiast.
On the main floor, you will find our shop and two adjoining light-filled classrooms. The atmosphere is bright and cheery and it is stocked full of yarn, roving and gifts. There is plenty of room and comfortable seating; and it is quite spacious. In the upstairs, we have three beautifully furnished rooms and two baths. Adorned with vintage antiques, linens and decorations, our rooms have a nostalgic décor with fiber arts in mind.
Guests can receive a $10 discount per night for an overnight stay combined with one of our scheduled classes. See class list above. |

The Weaver’s Loft is the ultimate relaxation suite!
This light filled room is furnished with a brass-style queen sized bed adorned in cream lace and petite flowered linens, a colonial bureau with mirrors, a sitting area, and an extra single bed.
The private bathroom hosts a luxurious Jacuzzi bath and shower. The comfort, charm and convenience of this room make it our most popular room.

Our Knitter’s Hideaway has a beautiful bay window that creates a cozy alcove where our rug loom resides. The double bed features an exquisite antique headboard. This room shares the hallway bath, complete with Raggedy-Ann and Andy (originally created in Illinois) theme bathtub, shower and toilet.

Retreats can be for one- or a group up to seven. We’ve often had people tell us that it is like being in a candy shop- for fiber lovers! Also, we are centrally located to the Sandwich Antique Flea Market, local u-pick apple and raspberry farms and many points of historical interest. So you can make your retreat here into a whole weekend of fun!
